The Hatdiva
I found it! My cover feature, of my local Clearwater Power co-op’s magazine. I was thrilled to meet the Ardis Eckel author of the article at a craft show. She was so gracious, coming out to my studio to interview me. How time flies! I went from milliner, felting wool for hats to becoming a micro wool mill owner. It really is fun, looking back to see how far I have come.
The hat making lends itself to wool dyeing. Color, was so important when making hats. Classic colors, like deep blues always sold best. Cloches never went out of style. People loved the big brimmed hats! See my about page to read more about my life as a creative.
